Back From Vacation...

... and I discover THIS?!?!?!?!?

You Are an Emo Rocker!

Expressive and deep, lyrics are really your thing.
That doesn't mean you don't rock out...
You just rock out with meaning.
For you, rock is more about connecting than grandstanding.

I don't even know what emo is! And I object to those lists of band groupings in the first question; all I wanted to do was rearrange them to make them fit better. Piece of crap.

Vacation summary coming; still digesting.

LOL! Check out Simple Plan (Untitled & just about anything else they do), My Chemical Romance (anything by them), Yellowcard (Believe & Ocean Avenue), and Sum 41 (Pieces). You'll know pretty much everything you need to know about emo!

I'm proud to say that I'm now a confirmed indie rocker ;^) I took the test and posted after seeing your. Thanks!

Freedom Rocker is what I got... and according to some, it's fitting. I'll post it on my blog.

Came via Michele's sight and hope you have a relaxing weekend after your vacation.

Ah, the King has spoken.
Seriously though, I get it now. I can deal with Drive Like Jehu and Rocket, but Sum 41 makes me want to slit my wrists.
GOD, I'm such the music snob...

Confess though, you picked the "Sum 41, The Pixies, New Found Glory" simply because The Pixies are the best band in the whole list, yes? I was tempted to, but those three bands should never be found in the same list together. I wisely went for "Beck, Elliot Smith, The White Stripes" even though I'm only a fan of one of those parties. But it's the vibe you gotta go with. That's the only difference between being an Emo Rocker and an Indie Rocker, and that's why these things really seem to be assembled by people who are rather clueless.

I did, I totally admit it. What I WANTED for a choice was the Pixies, the White Stripes, and David Bowie, but glam-rock/emo/indie music schizo wasn't a category.
