Isn't It Good?

I bought it.

RestringI've (almost) restrung it. Broke 2 G-strings (and that sounds so much more sexy than it actually was), and now have to buy another package of strings, but it's worth it.

She's, um, moody when it comes to tuning, but we'll get used to each other.

Pictures soon...

Oh, and of course, the first thing I played is the opening run to "Wish You Were Here". I gave myself chills.

Good for you, Courtney.

You can't go wrong with a Yamaha. I owned a wide-necked Yamaha classical that served me quite well for years and years. Never owned a 12-string, though.

Yay! You made the right choice. Now, you've got to record something and float it up on your blog for the benefit of your loyal readers, soon to be loyal listeners. ;^)

I used to have a really nice Guild 12-string that I got used at a shop across from Manny's on 48th Street in mid-town Manhattan back in 1986. Had it for five years. Loved it, but at the time I was hard up for money (living in Hollywood $$$) and traded for a very cool black Fender six-string (which I didn't have at the time).

And I agree with Andrew, Yamaha makes good instruments.
