There Are So Many Nights Where This Is Just How It Happens
Dear Liz,
It is a year to the day exactly from the day I met you in person (the techincal DATE is tomorrow, your birthday, but today is officially 365 days later). And like you described it on your blog back on that fateful weekend, you, too, "fell into my life as if you had always been there". And it has been a wild fucking year, girlfriend, as I'm sure you'd agree. This one's shaping up to be just as wild.
So on this, our one year anniversary (but, is it really? We'd been friends online for a long time previous, but, let's just go with the descriptor), I just want to let you know how much your friendship means to me, and how glad I am we fell into each other's worlds.
Happy Birthday, and Happy Anniversary! Here's to making it through the next year if it almost kills us ;)
