Found Poetry

The Handbook of Poetic Forms talks about a type of poetry called Found Poetry. In essence, these poems are created out of seemingly mundane pieces of language, and reassembled into something more meaningful.

Sometimes, reassembly is not required. Dale received this subject line in a junk mail last week, and I found it fascinating.

bibliophile widgeon cult drawn millionaire world anywhere adirondack spokesperson intrigue potato rebecca ursula bombay monocotyledon substitute whiten crony sawfly

Perhaps it would work better this way:

bibliophile widgeon
cult drawn millionaire world
anywhere adirondack spokesperson intrigue
potato
rebecca ursula bombay
monocotyledon substitute
whiten crony sawfly

Find some poetry in your world today.

"So I walk like I'm on a mission, 'cuz that's the way I groove. I've got more and more to do, I've got less and less to prove. It took me too long to realize that I don't take good pictures 'cuz I have the kind of beauty that moves..." Ani D.
