In Memoriam

Today would have been Joe Strummer's 53rd birthday. Go find some Clash and listen to it LOUD.

Last night, Gonzo hit the stratosphere in grand fashion.

See you in Hell, boys. And that's a greeting, not a kiss off.

You know what, Joe Strummer rocked - literally!

I'm a bit of a Clash fan and clearly remember the day he died. It was such a shock.

By the way, thanks for visiting my blog.

Thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten all about Joe's birthday.

Here's something I wrote about Strummer a couple of years ago: Joe Strummer, Punk Prophet.

One of my all-time faves is Joe Strummer and Johnny Cash doing the Redemption Song. In fact, my little girl, Esme learned almost all the lyrics when she was three just from listening in the car on my iPod!
