Will You Still Need Me? Will You Still Feed Me?

...when I'm 65?
Today would have been the 65th birthday of John Lennon. I think, more than ever, we still need his vision in today's world.

Happy Birthday, John.

Good morning; I'm here from Michele's today. Thanks for the birthday reminder-my partner is a Beatles freak and loves John most of all.

I would have loved him. Only Yoko probably would kick my butt.

Thanks for remembering on the greatest talents of our time.

Here via Michele.

Thank you for the heads up. I had forgotten :(

I'll put some Lennon on later after my girls go to sleep . . .

How missed the man is. I was raised on Beatles songs. One of my grandmother's favourite memories of me is as a toddler on my tricycle, singing "When I'm 64".

The planet suffers from a real deficit of people of his creativity, conviction, and intelligence. I weep for political populism when pondering if Santorum-supporting Bono is Lennon's heir in that regard.
