And Everything Under the Sun Is in Tune, But the Sun Is Eclipsed By the Moon
I remember being in a middle school, trying to convince 11 year olds everything would be ok, and not believing a word of it.
I worry about Sean every second. And every time I've ever thanked him for sitting in that god-forsaken hole in the sand, he shrugs it off and calls it his job.
I worry about the changes in our country. And every year since 2001, I feel very empty inside on this day.
Today, on my way home from work, I drove through the center of that town and witnessed a peace demonstration. Aging hippies with rainbow peace flags and signs; I stuck my hand out the window and flashed them a peace sign with my fingers, longer than I ever intended to.
Love each other, today and every day. Pray that we have the resolve to make this world a better one for our kids, and their kids, too.
