Your Mind Is Not Your Own

Tonight was one of those evenings that I really hated eating alone. I had a craving for burgers, and being low on cash, I knew it would actually be cheaper to go buy the ingredients and make my own burgers than go out and buy one from Five Guys or somewhere (I do love the Five Guys, though...). I also knew instinctually that I would have way more food than me, lonely little me, would need. And, I just wished for company.

I still made the burgers (bbq sauce and red onions in the mix, muenster cheese on top, grilled asparagus instead of fries), and mine was damn tasty. I froze the three I didn't cook. But, I still really hated eating by myself. It would have been nice to have someone to share the good stuff.

Life of a single girl. Lonely cheeseburgers and red wine. But, I'm not settling. I'll wait for what I want.
