I'm A Brand New Sky To Hang The Stars Upon Tonight

I'm a new day rising...

Life is good. This may be one of the seminal tunes of my life. It kept me sane when I first heard it, and made me like the phoenix above some real darkness. My eternal love for Dave Grohl was solidified with this song.

I am soaring when I hear it. Pure joy.

Wow, this songs speaks completely differently to me. Completely. To me it's not about being in a good place, it's about surviving a dark place and recognizing growth through darkness...and no, that's not what was going on when I heard it first. That's what the lyrics say to me.
