The Kind of Beauty That Moves
This article is dedicated to my cousin, who asked me to do HER a favor the other day, and color MY hair, so that I "don't end up looking like a Smith College professor".
Hmm... to risk ending up looking like an intelligent, successful, and, when you read this article, attractive woman. Thanks, cuz, but, my hair is just fine.
Would you all not agree? ;)

It's interesting. I dye my hair because it's fun. I like mixing up my natural red and I don't think it makes me any less authentic to dye it - could I possibly BE more authentic?
But I love the beauty of gray hair. So for me it's not about the gray, it's about enjoying my gorgeous God-given color and having fun with it, being who I want to be that day or month. One day I will go gray, and I will still have gorgeous hair. And it will be fun, then, too.
So, in short, I got your back, sister-girl. And, let's be friends. I like you.
please, you don't even have any gray hair. Now, me...god, I have oodles, and that gray, i do not like.
Well, I do in my second layer, which you can really see when I wear a ponytail (which I was doing on Sunday). And, I've dyed my hair before; however, I've dyed it for fun, so I'll go black or heavy red tones or something "fun" like that (I like black).
But, my cousin is famous for creating drama. When I saw that article though, I felt it needed a post. ;)
I think you're perfect. I did hear Oprah say however "there is no excuse to have gray hair,it's make you look so much older" I think though on some people it works, Will you be one of them? Maybe!
I always thought "Smith College professor" was code for middle-aged lesbian.
Gray can look very sexy and definitely intelligent.
I'm actually considering Betty Paige bangs right now. What do you think? ;)
