Shattered Into A Shower Of Sparks On The Curb

I'm wearing a t-shirt a friend left me as a memento, a long time ago, as pajamas. It hung on a hook on my bathroom door for months. For a time, it was my favorite shirt to sleep in, as I felt connected to this friend across the miles whenever I wore it. It's soft, and worn, and loose, and I felt safe with it draped on my shoulders.

I guess I'm just needing to feel close to someone right now. Nothing's happened; I'm just looking for a little bit of Linus's blanket here in my own world.
